At St Michael's, we’re passionate about helping every child become a confident, enthusiastic reader. That’s why we use Anima Phonics, a Department for Education-validated phonics programme that makes learning to read fun, interactive and effective.
Through catchy songs, engaging actions and playful characters, Anima Phonics brings phonics to life for our youngest learners. From the first sounds in Nursery and Reception to confident reading and spelling in Key Stage 1, the programme blends music, movement and memorable stories to support every stage of your child’s literacy journey.
